Lesson summary

Students are introduced to biodiversity by exploring types of wildlife. Through an independent art and writing exercise students discover that many different animals exist on our planet. This activity introduces the word mammal.

Learning goals: 

  • Biodiversity is both amazing and important, and we should do what we can to look after it.
