‘Life Cycle Thinking’ will provide you with teaching tools that can be used to integrate the cross-curricular priority area of Sustainability into the secondary curriculum.
In this 2-hour course, you will explore:
- The concept and theory of Life Cycle Thinking.
- The process of production, consumption and disposal of goods & services and the impact of these activities on our natural environment.
- Activities and examples of how Life Cycle Thinking can engage students through real-life learning experiences and help you embed sustainability into your teaching and learning programs.
You will utilise Cool Australia’s lesson plans and worksheets, which support differentiated learning and are mapped to the Australian Curriculum.
Secondary teachers from all subject areas wishing to embed sustainability into their teaching and learning programs. It is ideal for casual relief tachers and student teachers too.
This is a 2-hour short course available online. This course can be completed at any stage over a two-week period.
