Activity Introduction
Quick summary: This activity uses mindful breathing techniques to teach children how to shift emotional states. Using the element of earth, it explores breath and emotional regulation to help calm high-energy children down, or prepare them for a task where they need to focus.
This activity has been developed in partnership with Beata Heymann from Breath Circle.
Resources required:
- A device for sharing a video with children.
- An indoor or outdoor space to conduct your breathing activity with children.
