Introduction

Students use what they have learnt to create a communication product. There could be some easy opportunities for students to use a communication product, so this could guide their choice of audience and media.

If using the communication product is going to be too difficult then that aspect of the activity should be dropped.

Activity

Use the following steps as a guide for developing a communication project to help people reduce their stormwater pollution.

Step 1 – choose an audience (see below for example of audiences)

Step 2 – choose a media that:

  • Will engage your chosen audience
  • You can complete in the time given
  • Can be used (how will it be used, distributed, displayed etc to your audience will engage with it?)
  • You have the resources to make

Step 3 – Identify five things your audience can do to reduce stormwater pollution
