Make your picture stretch as far as you can, with this fun and easy exercise. Take your favourite picture out of an old magazine and cut it up! 

Safety advice: Scissors are very sharp! Be careful when using them and ask parents/caregivers for assistance.

Younger kids may need some help to use scissors but can complete this activity independently.

Picture Stretch - Activity Instructions

Make your picture stretch as far as you can, with this fun and easy exercise. Take your favourite picture out of an old magazine and cut it up! 

Safety advice: Scissors are very sharp! Be careful when using them and ask parents/caregivers for assistance.

Step 1. Go through some old magazines and find your favourite picture. Tear it out and cut it into strips.

Step 2. Glue it to the paper, one inch apart. 

Step 3. Colour in between the picture strips, using the colours on either side to guide you.

Taking It Further

You could do this activity with a picture that you have already coloured in. See it stretch and transform!
