Activity Introduction

Being stuck inside because of the coronavirus or bad weather doesn’t mean that you can’t go anywhere. Introducing the transport box! Do you want a spaceship to take you to outer space? A car to take you to the beach? A train to take you to the countryside? A tram to take you around the city? A plane to take you to a beach destination? It’s all possible with a little help from your imagination.

Safety advice: Scissors and knives are sharp and pointy and are very dangerous. Parents/caregivers should stay close and help with these objects.

Younger kids will need support for the craft component of this activity but will need minimal help with their imagination. Plus, it’s incredibly easy to make and will keep them entertained for long periods at a time.

Ideal for: Early Learning Ages 2-4

Themes:

  • investigate
  • playtime
  • chill time

Tips for Parents and Carers
