Introduction

Students design communication products using art materials. Small groups of students design a poster to be placed in the school. Students make stickers to take home. Students could design their stickers using computers. In this way, they could print many and swap them with other students. 

Activity 1.

1. Using scrap paper, small groups of students design a poster. The final poster will be displayed in an area of the school where people walk past.

2. Students decide what they want people in the school to do to save water.

3. In their design, students include a message about how people can save water. They make an outline of their artwork.

4. They present their design to the class and the teacher provides feedback.

5. Students use their design to make their poster.

6. The posters are displayed around the school.

Activity 2.

1. Using scrap paper, students design one or more stickers. The final stickers will be displayed somewhere in their home
