Introduction

Students can use water wisely and they can learn to turn taps off properly. When there is a problem with plumbing they will need to inform an adult about the problem so it can be fixed.

Activity

Copy the activity sheet so each student has one. Go through each of the problems where water is being wasted. Discuss if the student can fix the problem, e.g., turn the tap off properly. If the student isn’t able to fix the problem, then who can? For each of the problems the student in the third column says what they will do.

If students have come across other problems they can add them to the list.
