This STEAM unit focuses on the interconnectedness of mathematics, science, technology, engineering, and art through a series of projects and activities. Students will create art using mathematical concepts such as the Fibonacci sequence, fractals, and the Golden ratio, and will explore the scientific and artistic interpretation of "true" images of animals. They will also develop scientifically accurate models of the solar system using scale and other mathematical skills, and create pixel art to represent real data.
